HEALTH SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS FOR BOSASO DISTRICT – PUNTLAND STATE OF SOMALIA
The purpose of the Health Systems Strengthening Diagnosis (HSSD) was to identity gaps and strengths of
the health system in Bosaso District of Bari Region in the Puntland State of Somalia with the aim of designing a programming strategy. The HSSD process would then yield two outcomes. The first is the diagnosis report serving as a baseline and highlighting strengths and weaknesses of the health system in Bosaso District. The second would be a programming strategy serving as a blueprint for stakeholder interventions to strengthen the health system in the district.
